We are excited and thrilled to announce this year's annual Art&Writing competition with a theme of 'My Hometown'. For more than 10 years, HuMaNiuWa, Shanghai Family, and Parents&Kids have been putting on a competition to encourage all children living in Shanghai to strech their creative muscles and improve their writing skills. Bright Futures: Positive Guidance for ayi

The Ocean

 

Does your child like to play with water? Does your child like to go to aquarium? Then this is for you. DKS Shanghai, in collaboration with Royal Academy of Music composer Dominic Harlan, has created a new immersive and interactive classical music enlightenment series for children aged 0-6 years old, "Ocean Concerto", with the theme of ocean conservation. During the short 45-minute concert, used these recycled materials to make your own marine props and instruments to play and get the touch of music in an interactive and vicarious way.

Museum of Art Pudong

 

Newly opened Museum of Art Pudong (MAP) which is in Pudong, has its special characteristics. MAP bears the social responsibility of providing one of the best experiences of art to the public. The museum has all the things including MAP Shop, Café and restaurants, and many more. There are three amazing exhibitions to check out: Light (works from Tate’s Collection), Cai Guo-Qiang: Odyssey and Homecoming, and Joan Miró: Women, Birds, Stars.

Tin Tin Exhibition

 

This exhibition will not only showcase the art of Tintin, but also shed light on his creator Hergé (the pen name of Georges Remi). Great place to visit as a fun weekend activity with your family. You get to see the development of the cartoon and raw sketches which is fascinating.
