On August 16th, we held the semi-final speaking competition of ‘Student Voices’. The theme of this competition is‘Eco Future’. We had over 30 contestants take part, all with the hope of moving through to the next round. Young people are the driving force behind a lot of the collaborative efforts taking place at the moment, all with the hope of making the world a better place.
We heard from children as young as six, talking about the changes they want to see take place in the world. Each contestent approached the topic with a unique perspective and understanding. This highlighted the range of problems the world is facing at the moment.
